Best Practices of How to Prepare, Plan & Execute Virtual System Inspections
BEST PRACTICES OF HOW TO PREPARE, PLAN & EXECUTE VIRTUAL SYSTEM INSPECTIONS
December 1, 11:00am-12:00pm
Since the onset of restrictions to protect public health during the Covid-19 pandemic earlier this year, it has become clear that water systems must adopt new and innovative approaches to maintain consistent and reliable Water Treatment Operations. While Operators continue to conduct their essential work in-person, many other support staff are working remotely. Sometimes critical work for a Water Treatment Operator requires coordination and/or collaboration with other professionals, service technicians, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
During this virtual meeting you will hear from members of the CTAWWA Water Treatment Plant Operations and Maintenance Committee who have conducted virtual inspections and tours at their facilities in collaboration with state agencies in order to advance critical capital projects and perform routine regulatory requirements.
- This on-line class will help you conduct an efficient virtual tour or inspection at your facility by reviewing important tips and best practices to help you plan ahead and provide useful advice for ensuring an effective virtual tour.
- During this class we will walk you through the inspection of a filter upgrade project at a surface water treatment plant.
