Thanks to the generosity of the Associates Committee and especially the Section Enhancers Applications are now being accepted for the:

CTAWWA Associates Committee General Scholarship: Applicant eligibility includes CTAWWA Section Student, Individual, Utility and Corporate members or their employees including their children or dependents. High School seniors and students currently enrolled in an education program beyond the secondary level in a 2-year, 4-year or graduate program who have not previously been awarded a CT Section Scholarship are eligible. Awards will be based on academic performance, participation in school and community activities, application completeness and autobiographical sketch. 

To be considered for this year's award, applications must be received by Friday, March 28, 2026.

Associates Water Works Career Scholarship: Applications are now being accepted for the CT Section AWWA Associates Committee Waterworks Career Scholarship Program. This scholarship may be awarded to one or more college student(s) majoring in civil or environmental engineering or other water industry-related fields by a specific vote of the Scholarship Committee. Applicant eligibility includes CT AWWA Section Student, Individual, Utility, and Corporate members or their employees including their children or dependents who are a college student entering their junior or senior year, or a graduate student enrolled in an accredited water-related program. The awardee must satisfy other qualifying criteria as identified in the application.

To be considered for this year's award, applications must be received by Friday, March 28, 2025.

Kevin T. Walsh Scholarship

Applications are now being accepted for the Kevin T. Walsh Scholarship for an active participant in the Water Management Program at Gateway Community College, Goodwin College or other water related educational program who has completed two of the four courses required to obtain a Certificate in the Program. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible for an additional award.

To be considered for this year's award, applications must be received by Friday, December 6, 2024.
