Customer Service Committee
Reports to: Education and Public Affairs Council
Responsibilities: To identify training needs of Connecticut utilities in the area of customer service. Coordinate customer service seminars with the Education Committee.
- Committee Purpose:
In addition to identifying training needs in the customer service area and coordinating workshops, the committee seeks to promote service excellence for all Connecticut water consumers and to raise awareness of customer service as a professional career.
- Activities and Events
- The Customer Service Activities Committee usually meets on a monthly basis. They sponsor at least one workshop a year. Each year the committee promotes activities during National Customer Service Week and recognizes one small (less than 10,000 population) and one large water utility for their activities. They also recognize customer service heroes that have been nominated by their utilities.
